Why is Twitter Still Relevant to Musicians

The new rules of Social Media say that you should only focus on a few platforms, be great at three, rather than be mediocre everywhere, makes sense right? So why does Twitter seem to stay on that top list of three for most musicians?

Twitter lets musicians do three things they can’t do on other social platforms.

If you are active on Twitter, you know that timing and consistency is the name of the game. Last check, Twitter reports; as of the first quarter of 2018, the micro-blogging service averaged at 336 million monthly active users. ~ www.statista.com. Now that’s a-lot of active users to keep up with and nearly impossible to reach, but the good news is if you’re consistent and efficient you’ll reach a percentage of them, well at least try too.

Linked below is a great post by our friend @ChrisRobley of CDBaby DIY Musicians Blog on the subject. Check it out!
